Shona White is a West End and International leading lady.

Most recently Shona starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s one woman masterpiece Tell Me on a Sunday.

She played Donna Sheridan in the International Tour of Mamma Mia! to critical acclaim, making her the first actress to have played both daughter then mother in the smash hit musical.

Originally from Scotland, Shona is an Associate of the Royal Academy of music in London. Whilst training at the Academy she won the Ronald White Prize for Acting Through Song. 

Theatre credits include: Jack Absolute Flies Again (National Theatre, London), Woman 2 in The World Goes Round (Stephen Joseph Theatre), Leda Cotton in I Capture the Castle (Watford Palace, Bolton Octagon),  Alternate Donna in Mamma Mia! (Novello Theatre, London), Florence Vassy in the award winning production of Chess directed by Craig Revel Horwood (UK Tour & Princess of Wales Theatre Toronto), Standby and playing Elphaba in Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre, London), Betty in Shout (UK Tour and Arts Theatre, London), Usherette/Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show (UK Tour and Playhouse Theatre, London), Lisa and then Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia! (Prince Edward Theatre, London), Miss Gordon in Michael Grandage’s Olivier award winning Merrily We Roll Along (Donmar Warehouse) and understudying and playing Eponine and Cosette in Les Miserables (UK Tour).

Shona has appeared as a guest soloist in numerous concerts including Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2, Fly With The Stars at The London Palladium and at The Royal Albert Hall in an Elton John concert. 

She has performed her solo show at some of London’s premiere cabaret venues including Pizza Express Live at The Pheasantry, The Hippodrome and Crazy Coqs, Live at Zedel. 

A career highlight to date was being invited to perform her one woman show at the prestigious 54 Below in New York.
