Moses

Male vocalist known for his versatility, warm, smooth timbre and tone - based in the USA

Moses J. Gardner, recently seen on The Voice S29 Battle of Champions in which he placed the Top 18, is known for his versatility, warm, smooth timbre and tone. He has been singing and playing instruments for as long as he can remember.

Hailing from Harlem, NYC with roots in South Carolina, home of the Gullah Geechee, like many people of the African American experience; Moses got his first exposure to music in church. Under the tutelage of his mother, singing in a family group like she did growing up in the family tradition, he took to music very quickly and his affinity for the craft of singing and eclectic taste in music was noted from his earliest days.

He has been working professionally in the music industry since the age of 15, and has been blessed to sing background vocals for some  noteworthy names in music:  Michael Bolton, John Cale, John Legend, Kool and the Gang, Mary J. Blige, Cher, House Band vocals for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2024 with The Roots, Common, Ledisi, Chanté Moore, Tamar Braxton, Lil Kim, Ayana George, Raphael and Whitney Smith, to name a few.

He’s also been featured at the prestigious Lincoln Center in a show entitled Soundtrack 63’, and has been on several tours, one being a gospel tour in Japan at 19 years of age with the longest running,  black off Broadway musical, Mama I Want to Sing and for some of the various artists aforementioned. After making the Top 18 on NBC’s The Voice, Moses G. is recoding his debut studio album.
